Message: Just wanted to give you guys a update.
Everythings working great all I have to figure out is how to keep the mud off my radiator. FYI all around town I don't have any rubbing on the wheel wells but when I was off-roading last weekend I did get a LITTLE bit of rubbing so I trimed about 1/4" off the bottom of the plastic wheel well cover just so I didn't end up tearing it off with my tires. The problem was I rolled backwards and that bent the plastic forward enough for my tire to grab ahold of it. Anyway Even with my ~5" suspension lift I still had to trim alittle :-\ on a technacality but still GRR!

Trimming the wheel wells seems to be required no matter what kind of lift you get. Unless you stay with the smaller tires.
Have fun with it!

Front drive shaft. No problems it's working like a champ I found out they built it to handle 600 lbs of toruque.. I'd better not have any problems with this thing.

Message: I'm trying to figure out how much of a lift I have now.. I'm have no clue what the actual height is.. I measured from the ground to the top part of my wheel well (the highest point on my fender flair) in front it measured 42 1/2" and the rear measured 42". I was wondering what the stock 4x4's measure and what they measure with the body lift.

Message: Mine has 4" of lift, 3" of body lift and exactly 1" of suspension and 1.5" from my 33's and I'm at 40.5". If we assume your 33's and my 33's are the same then that puts you at 6" of lift!
Stock mine was at 35" to the flair in front and 36.5 in the rear.
I posted some pics on the offroad board.

Message: Knobby. You should swap tires with Sean (FortWorth4x4) one day and see how they clear. They'll probably rub the frame because they are on the stock rims but it will prove whether or not 6" can clear 35's. I bet with 3.75"-4" backspacing on some 16x8's you could clear them. 35" All-Terrains for the street. 33" MT/R's for offroad.
Man I love spending other peoples money :P. Come on its just $1200. You got that!

My tires will rub a little bit on the frame in the front at full turn.
Knobby- if you want we can try it out. not sure how well you will be able to turn though.

Message: Just FYI really quick.. I had another problem with my truck.. Luckly my dad was borrowing my truck and it happened when he had it at work (a fab shop). Anyway one of the 4 parts I didn't have to replace or strengthen cracked and broke off. So they had to be fixed and strengthened. Somehow I got lucky on this one and it happened as they were about to lift up the front end to make another repair. So as the forklift (yes but it's stronger & alot faster then a regular jack) was just about to pick up the front end the shock mounts broke off. That's also what was screwing with my alignment. I'll get some pictures of the repairs later. I don't have any of the break because I was out of town.

Message: Knobby: That sucks, but at least you or your dad werent driving down the road when it happened. What were they raising the truck to fix in the first place?
And I have a few question for you. Can you give me the name of the place that made your rear bumper for you? I have an idea that I want to do with mine. Do they draw it up for you or did you do that and bring it to them? And finally, did you purchase the materials seperatly or did they have them?
Thanks.

Oh my dad was lifting it up to fix my rubbing problem. It's not fixed but it's much better. We didn't want to weaken the already weak lift I have.
